2018 Player Survey Results

  Our annual survey results are in.
 
  Quite a bit of our new content received votes but your favorite was
  Binding across alts followed by the Bard guild enhancements. Nice
  work Oberon and Fade!
 
  Big monsters still rule the day. The most requested size was 5-10M
  followed by 10M+.
 
  Half of you don't quest (boo!) but our exclusive quests are at the
  top of the list for most of you that do. Cacodemon, Missing Mystic,
  and Sleeper Must Awaken all received votes.
 
  We received several cool profession ideas. A couple of you mentioned
  my favorite - thieves that can steal coins from monsters. I also
  liked Scholars who collect knowledge and basically have their own
  area/eq/monster info files. And Commanders who can enhance their
  mercs to be more powerful and/or cheaper.
 
  Guild love was pretty evenly distributed with ten different guilds
  receiving votes, but Angels finished with a narrow lead.
 
  Some of the website ideas I'm considering are more guild and
  profession information, a different graphic on the home page,
  a reboot calendar, and a space for 3S fan fiction. Anyone want
  to write some?
 
  And finally, some of your ideas for improving the game include more
  guild updates/new guilds, reducing the grind on crafting, and more
  top end areas.
 
  I'll talk to our wizards about knocking as much of this out over the
  course of the year as we can. While we're at it, please help us recruit
  more players. The more people we see online, the easier it is to
  justify the time and effort required to code all the stuff you want.
