2016 Holiday VAF Gifts

  The 2016 Christmas wishlist drive is upon us!
 
  Yep, it's time to show your favorite coder(s) some love for all
  of the hard work they put into making 3S a great place to play. 
  In return, you're going to get some sweet rewards yourself. 
  Details below:
 
  Until 11:59pm December 25th, you can buy your favorite ACTIVE
  wizards some Amazon gift cards or Amazon wishlist items. Please 
  note, only gift-giving-credit-receiving items are Amazon items, 
  and shipping doesn't count, so use Prime or super-saver. Simply 
  send them to their email (finger them for their email and/or 
  wishlist) and you'll get some, or perhaps all of the following 
  tokens of our appreciation.
 
  Bring the Love
  * Now though Xmas, get 2x VAF credit for every Amazon gift card
    you send. If you choose, you can split the credit for a friend
    in a 1x for you and 1x for them manner
 
  Candy ArCANE Protection (get it?)
  * Everyone who participates gets a magical candy cane during the
    Xmas boot, which gives you a few free mystical protections from
    death blows
 
  Brothers in Arms
  * Anyone whose total wishlist purchases meet or exceed $400, can
    create a copy of your character file with a different name!
    For the most part, this is only stats, level, and quests. Please
    see below for some more fine print.
 
  Buddy the Elf
  * For those of you who just can't get enough Christmas, you have the
    opportunity to trigger a Christmas In July boot.  Get you and your
    buddies (buddies, ha!) together and go shopping! If 12 or more
    players participate in Xmas VAF season, we'll have another 
    Christmas tree in the center of town on July 1st!
 
 
  If you achieve a character copy, you will have your character's
  player file replicated with a new name and attached to your
  existing set of alternates/second chars. This character will lose
  all guild affiliations, all professions, explorer status, and many
  other items that are not stored in the player file itself.
  You will keep, (and you may request not to) your level, stats,
  quests, create date, skills, and various other (likely small)
  traits from your player object.
