The OMP ('help omp') is a freaking fun time for all, and we hope you can make it this year to what will be SIXTEEN STRAIGHT YEARS OF WILD, UNABASHED AWESOMENESS! And just like every year before, with the OMP comes the OMP VAF DRIVE! Hot new - Individual benefits! - See IN SUMMARY at the bottom. All players on 3Scapes who participate with a VAF of $20 or more until the time of 9:59pm Saturday July 27th 2013, contribute to their guild's totals. The VAF must be received and allocated by that time, so if you're sending in a check or money order, give it a week at least. How do you VAF? Type 'help vaf' and off you go. All of the normal, individual VAF perks apply in addition to the wonderful benefits below. Plus, many guilds offer OMP-Drive perks too, so talk to your GM and see what's on the table. When you VAF an amount using the means in 'help vaf' you get normal VAFs to spend on all the VAF goodies available, but you also get an equivalent amount of guild-allocatable VAFs. These special VAFs can then be allocated to any guild to which any of your characters belong. These special, yearly VAFs only run from the point of the previous OMP. Note: VAF wishlist doubling is not counted for the OMP drive. Let's take an example: Bob, a Monk, sends in $50. Bob then gets 50 VAF credits to spend on VAF perks. In addition to this, Bob also has $50 that he can allocate to any of his guilds. He's got a second character named Bill who is a Bard. Bob (or Bill, it is the same human, after all) then chooses to allocate $30 to Monks and $20 to Bards, adding to each of those guilds' total along with the overall total as well. The commands to use for this are housed in the 'vaf' command, so if you type 'vaf' you will see all the options available to you. If you have any questions, just ask, and by asking, I mean post a note on the main board. So, all that said, you now get to show your guild spirit! The guilds with the highest allocated totals will receive the following rewards: FIRST PLACE 1st place guild: Victory banner in the Center of Town praising the #1 guild for a year EXCLUSIVE BOOT LOGIN 1st-2nd place: For one designated reboot... 1st place guild members will be able to login at reboot 2nd place guild members will be able to login 4 hours after reboot The rest will be able to login 8 hours after reboot BOONS 1st-3rd place: Each guild will sponsor an end of year boon fest. Each fest will include a T-boon stat boost and a no-death boon (at least). GUILD ARTIFACTS 1st-4th place: For that same designated reboot... Each guild will receive 20 guild artifacts (randomly picked) for their guild at the beginning of the boot, to be then distributed by the respective guild admins. UNBREAKABLE EQUIPMENT 1st-5th place: For that same designated reboot... Any armour the members of the winning guilds wear, or weapons wield, will not break for the entire reboot. This is an effect on the player, not the item, so it only works for items you hold. AND THAT'S NOT ALL... BOON FESTS GALORE! There will be a boon fest whenever the total passes a $1000 mark. Boonfest include at least one big statboost, one nodeath boon and usually more. The reward you get is determined by your online status at the time of the festness. You are ONLINE when the statboost happens * You get a full statboost and nodeath period You are LINKDEAD when the statboost happens * If you have allocated at least $20 VAFs for this year's OMP drive, you get 1/2 statboost * If you have allocated at least $100 VAFs for this year's OMP drive, you get a full statboost You are OFFLINE when the statboost happens * If you have allocated $150 or more VAFs for this year's OMP drive, you get to retrieve ALL the stat boost and instant no-death period you may have missed because your characters were offline. EVERY stat boost for that boot can be are retrieved for each of your characters via vaf statboost. EVEN if you quit and come back, each of your characters can put themselves back up fully with the boosts (only once per human on the nodeath though). DOUBLE COIN BOOT When the total passes $4000, there will be a boot where for the entire duration, any coins gained from most monsters will be doubled. Some monsters that are specifically designed won't be affected, but the vast majority of kills will yield many more coins. BOON EXTRAVAGANZA When the total passes $4500, there will be a scheduled boon extravaganza that will include many of most every boon there is. 2X EXPERIENCE BOOT When the total passes $5000, there will be a special boot where all normal experience gained will be at DOUBLE value. DIVINE SHIELD BOOT When the total passes $5500, a special boot will be granted that gives you 1/2 damage resistance to attacks. FREE NUMBERS PERK FOR EVERYONE BOOT When the total passes $6000, a special boot will be granted where everyone will behave as if they possess the numbers vaf perk (type vaf numbers). DIVINE POWER BOOT When the total passes $6500, a special boot will be granted that gives you double combat damage. 4X CRAFTING BOOT When the total passes $7000, there will be a special boot where all Crafting components (farms, mines and fragments) will be at FOUR times their normal rate/frequency 3X EXPERIENCE BOOT When the total passes $7500, the aforementioned double experience boot instead becomes a TRIPLE experience boot. MUDWIDE WISH! When the total passes $8000, the populace of 3S will be granted one wish. The mud as a whole will have the ability to determine one significant thing that would change the face of 3S. HALF-RESET BOOT When the total passes $8500, a special boot will be granted where items reset twice as quickly. GLUTTONY BOOT When the total passes $9000, there will be a special boot where, if you are stuffed at the time, you will earn +1 to each stat every hour. 20% of the stats gained will carry over to following boot, with the top 5 stat-getters carrying over ALL their gained boosts. 4X EXPERIENCE BOOT When the total passes $9500, the aforementioned triple experience boot instead becomes a QUADRUPLE experience boot. 2X PROFESSIONS PXP BOOT When the total passes $10000, there will be a special boot where all PXP is earned at 2x the normal rate. BLING BOOT When the total passes $10500, there will be a special boot where most monsters will drop 2x items. Individual Benefits (yes they all stack, yes you will be recredited any VAFs you spent on free perks you may have already earned) * Allocate $100 or more, you get "full-tier" stat boosts while LD (as opposed to none or half) This applies to all your chars. * Allocate $150 or more and you get to retrieve the latest stat boost and instant no-death period you may have missed because your characters were offline via vaf statboost. Boost retrieval applies to EVERY boost for ALL your characters EVEN if you quit out (nodeath is once per human). * Allocate $400 or more and get the amazing gswap VAF perk applied to any of your characters FREE!
