You didn’t ask to be found, but here they are — refugees from another world, driven out by a hostile species and adapting to survive wherever they land. What makes their survival possible is a symbiont capable of linking directly into a host’s mind through a set of fine tendrils.
You volunteer your own body as one of those hosts. Somewhere during the ritual, a newly formed Sii settles into you, and rather than one side simply overriding the other, your minds start to share space — you pick something up from the symbiont, and it picks something up from you.
Eventually the two of you stop being separable at all. What’s left is a single merged consciousness that can move into other bodies entirely — a winged, nocturnal hunter’s form, a scaled and taloned humanoid form, and whatever else the guild’s ongoing work eventually makes available. Your original human shape stays useful precisely because it’s the one you already know how to run.
What you get
- A symbiotic bond that eventually merges your mind with the Sii’s
- Access to alternate physical forms beyond your original human body
- Winged and reptilian-humanoid forms among the alternatives on offer
- Ongoing guild experimentation that may unlock further forms over time
Who it suits
Players drawn to alien-symbiont roleplay and shapeshifting through biology rather than magic, comfortable with an identity that shifts as the merge deepens.
