Bladesinger

⚔ fantasy

Blend swordplay with rune-craft under a legendary mentor, choosing offense, defense, or the runesmith's own path.

# join: Open from level 5 — find Corath or another Bladesinger willing to sponsor you.

Your kind exists because the old elven line that first fused steel and sorcery disappeared, and someone had to keep the tradition from dying with them. You’re one of the humans chosen to carry it forward — proof the art survives even without its original masters.

Corath, the senior figure who trains new recruits, starts you on the fundamentals: any weapon, any armor, nothing to work around while you’re still learning to fight. From there you move into etching runes onto your own gear, first learning to read the old symbols and eventually inscribing new ones of your own design.

Later still comes power drawn through pacts with the Unseelie fae — wards that guard you, spells that close your wounds — layered on top of whatever fighting style you’ve already built. Whether you lean into brute offense, a wall of defense, or a scholar’s focus on runecraft, how that path unfolds is entirely up to you.

What you get

Who it suits

Players who want a hybrid fighter-caster with room to specialize, and who like the idea of a small, mentor-led order preserving something rare rather than a guild with a huge, sprawling membership.
